Common challenges we help solve.

We offer solutions to problems you may face at your sites.

Aging infrastructure

Cracked sidewalks, deteriorating exteriors, & outdated structures affect both safety & perception. We help assess & upgrade key areas to keep your property in top condition.

Liability & safety risks

Trip hazards, sinkholes, & exposed areas pose real dangers. We identify risks early, make durable repairs, & help keep your site compliant & claim-free.

Contractor coordination

Managing multiple vendors across trades is a challenge. We offer centralized support, coordinating concrete, masonry, carpentry, & more so you only need one point of contact.

Tenant disruption

Noise, dust, & blocked access during repairs can frustrate tenants. We phase work smartly, communicate clearly, & reduce impact to operations with thoughtful planning.

Delays & budget overrun

Lack of oversight can lead to extended timelines & cost increases. Our team provides transparent project management, scope tracking, & proactive updates to keep things on time & on budget.

Short-term fixes

Temporary repairs can cost more in the long run. We prioritize solutions that last, especially in high-traffic or weather-sensitive zones, so you’re not back to square one.

Tailored to you.

We tailor our construction approach to fit the unique needs of each site. Whether the priority is safety, timelines, functionality, or long-term durability, our plans are built around what matters most to your project.

800 Willowbrook

Image

Sinkholes can form due to natural conditions or utility failures. In limestone areas, rainwater dissolves the rock over time, creating underground voids that eventually collapse. Utility-related sinkholes happen when soil around a broken pipe shifts into the pipe itself, leaving a gap beneath the surface that later gives way. Utility failures are often easier to repair, while sinkholes in limestone areas may require engineered solutions like flowable fill or compaction grouting.

At 800 Willowbrook, the cause was a mix of both. Caliber responded quickly, excavated the area, and discovered an underground retention basin. With no visible limestone but soft soils present, the team worked with a geotechnical engineer to stabilize the site. Compaction grouting was used to fill the void and reinforce the subsurface, ensuring long-term support without extensive excavation.
