One of Caliber's largest and most successful working relationships has been with a well known national big box retailer. The growth of the strategic partnership between Caliber and this client is an excellent example of how our unique offering and exceptional work quality lead to deep integrations between Caliber and the companies that we provide service for. More often than not, Caliber is the only managed services provider willing and able to address emergency conditions and solve critical issues, leading to a long-term, successful collaboration.

Once Caliber begins a service partnership with a client, and demonstrates the high level of quality and customer attention that is typical of our partnerships, the relationship always grows to include the full breadth and width of our services, across an entire facility portfolio. Our continued successful partnership described here is no different.
This national brand initially contacted us to help solve numerous service failures in 2020, as they had not found a consistent and reliable facilities management partner. Caliber's unique ability to quickly assess issues and mitigate emergencies with the urgency required at a large scale directly leads to a long-term, trusted relationship.

Once we were able to prove we could service all of their locations effectively, Caliber was granted a comprehensive snow removal contract across 100+ locations the following year. By establishing proactive and consistent lines of communication, ensuring the highest quality service and service validation, and providing creative and unique solutions to facilities management problems, Caliber established itself as critical to our client's ability to maintain effective facilities across a wide swath of their east coast locations.

Over the past two years, we have progressed to becoming one of this companies' most valuable strategic partners, providing services to more than 285 total locations. Our service offering for them now includes comprehensive landscaping, sweeping, and pressure washing services, as well as general facilities management, preventative maintenance, porter, and all snow removal services.

Conclusion and Outcome

By working through a chaotic situation, and solving immediate, urgent problems at a small batch of locations, Caliber was able to grow from five emergency sites to 65 snow and more than 220 grounds service sites. Our proactive communication, high level of customer service, quality control, and service validation enabled us to become a valued strategic partner across a major retail client's facility portfolio.

Nick is a graduate of Penn State University, with additional software programming coursework taken at MIT. He currently lives in Philadelphia and enjoys snowboarding.
